Regular Weight Nylon Lycra Color Swatch Set

The terms Lycra® and Spandex refer to the same elastic fiber. Lycra® is Dupont's trade name for Spandex and it has become commonly used to refer to many stretch knits containing Spandex.
This swatch set includes Spandex, Supplex and Hi Tech Supplex Lycra® in solid colors. They are considered Tricot knits, that is, having equal stretch in both lengthwise and crosswise directions. However, because Tricot knits may vary, it is important to determine if there is a direction of greater stretch and have that greater stretch go around your body, legs and arms. The lengthwise grain (selvage) runs the 5" length of the samples in this swatch set.
Spandex Solids
Tricot Knits are usually smooth, shiny
and very stretchy. Use for tights leotards, swimsuits, active wear, trim for
socks and Polartec garments.
"Matte" refers to the flat, non shiny finish on some of our Spandex Solids.
Matte finish Spandex Solids are smooth and stretchy, but not shiny.
Machine wash cold - Line dry - Do not bleach.

Easy care - TACTEL® fiber dries 8 times faster than cotton.

Supplex Nylon Lycra® is soft, durable and wicking. It is suitable for tights, bike shorts and clothing used for high exertion activities as well as skirts, pants and T-tops for travel or home. Weight, texture and drape varies.
