2-layer Waterproof Breathable are composed of a top fabric layer and backed with a waterproof breathable membrane. It is highly recommended to line a 2-layer garment. 3-layer Waterproof Breathable has the same construction as the 2-layer except for a protective fabric covering the membrane. You do not need to line this style.
