A personal sleeping shelter to protect you and your sleeping bag from snow, rain, wind and insects.
Finished bag approximately 93" long, 70" circumference. Materials Required
Fabric:
Upper Shell - 2 yards 60" wide or 3 1/8* yards 45" wide
A lightweight, Waterproof-Breathable fabric will be best for the top half of the sack. A shell fabric that is only water repellent can be used if warmth and staying clean are your primary concerns. *This amount of 45" wide fabric will make a sack with no cross-body seams.
Lower Shell - 2 yards 60" wide or 3 1/8* yards 45" wide
Lightweight Coated Nylon is best for the bottom half. It should be waterproof, breath ability is not necessary. Coated Taffeta is recommended.
